School Improvement Plan

School Improvement Plan 2023-2024

Goal 1: During the 2023-2024 school year, we will demonstrate an 8-percentage point increase in the number of 3rd- 5th grade students performing at the proficient and distinguished levels in ELA (14% to 22%) and Math (12% to 20%) as evident by the Spring 2024 GMAS.  

Goal 2: During the 2023-2024 school year, we will demonstrate an 8-percentage point increase in the number of students performing at the proficient and distinguished levels in Science (5th grade only) (14% to 22%) as evident by the Spring 2024 GMAS.  

Goal 3: During the 2023-2024 school year, we will demonstrate 10 percentage points growth (Grades K to 3) in students reading on or above grade level as evident by AMIRA results from the BOY to the EOY.

Goal 4: During the 2023-2024 school year, we will demonstrate 5 percentage points increase for student attendance as evident by the CCRPI Readiness Attendance Score (from 79.29% to 85%).

 

STAP Action Steps from October 16 – December 15. 

CSIP Goal #1 Action Steps

-All 3rd-5th grade students will chart their journey and understand their GMAS goal for reading and math. 

-Implement data driven small groups in reading and math to include students completing 45 minutes a week of Amira practice during reading small groups.

-Students will engage in academic discourse using the language of the standard and the following strategies:  Think-Pair-Share; Turn/Talk; Using the Accountable Talk Stems; and/or Talk Moves.

CSIP Goal #2 Action Step

-Integrate STEM in at least 2 content areas in all K-5 grade classrooms (Intentional Integration 2.0 PL)

CSIP Goal #3 Action Step

-Implement ASR with a focus on reading for K-5 grade students who are performing below grade level.

-Implement strategies to recognize and reward parents for student attendance (Parent Workshops; Parents Night Out, and etc.)
