PBIS
What is PBIS and what does it look like at Fountain Elementary?
Fountain Elementary is proud to be a PBIS school, where positive behavior and a supportive learning environment are at the heart of everything we do. Our B³ expectations—Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe—guide students in making positive choices every day.
The foundation of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is continual teaching and recognition of positive behaviors, which helps reduce unnecessary discipline and creates a school climate focused on productivity, safety, and learning. Through a multi-tiered approach, PBIS uses data and proven behavioral strategies to provide school-wide, targeted, and individualized supports that help every student succeed.

How do we communicate with parents?
We use Class Dojo to track and communicate student behaviors. If you have not already joined classdojo please contact your scholar's teacher or our parent liaison Ms. Quiroz at gabysol.quiroz@clayton.k12.ga.us
